Including the ones most product pages dodge — what this tool deliberately does not do yet.
What exactly is Opus Album?
It is a wedding album designer that runs inside your web browser — nothing to install. You drop in a whole shoot, and it lays the photos into real dense Karizma-style spreads from a library of 554 templates with 3,491 photo openings, across as many spreads as your photos need. There is no AI involved: the layouts are ready-made professional templates and the tool fits your photos into them, then you fine-tune by hand. Finished spreads export as print-ready files that you take to your own lab.
Do I need Photoshop or any software installed?
No. You open opusalbum.com in a normal browser like Chrome and start working — no Photoshop, no plugin, no setup file, no licence key. This is the main difference from the Rs 2,000-7,000 Windows album software most studios buy, which usually needs Photoshop sitting on the same PC to even run.
What does it cost, and is the free trial really free?
Your first 2 pages are free — a taste of the real thing. Free means you actually design and export them without paying anything; the point is that you see the print in your hand before you trust us with money.
After that you pay by the page, which is the same unit you already buy design in when you outsource a sheet. Each page is paid for once: growing a 20-page album to 25 costs 5 pages, never the first 20 again, and re-exporting an album you have already paid for is free however many times you change it. The watermarked proof you send the couple never costs anything.
There is no subscription. Payments will go through Cashfree, an Indian payment gateway.
Where does it print — do I have to use your lab?
You print at your own local lab, the same one you already use. We sell only the design; we do not print anything and we take no cut of your printing. Your paper, your lamination, your rates, your delivery time — all of that stays in your hands. That is the whole idea: design here, print where you already trust.
What size and resolution do I get?
Each spread exports as a 36x12 inch sheet at 300 DPI, the standard dense-album sheet size. The real resolution is written inside the file itself, so your lab's software reads the correct physical size instead of guessing and scaling it wrong. The full album downloads as one ZIP with all the spreads inside, ready to hand over on a pen drive or send to the lab.
Will my local lab accept the file?
Yes — what comes out is a plain flat image for each spread, exactly the kind of file album labs already receive from designers, at the correct pixel size with 300 DPI embedded. Nothing exotic, no layered project file the lab has to open in special software. Because your first 2 pages are free, the honest way to be sure is to export one, take it to your lab, and check the print before you pay us a single rupee.
Will it run on my old laptop?
Most likely yes, but please test it rather than believe us. All the work happens on your own machine — nothing is sent to a server — so a very old laptop with little RAM will feel slower on a big album, especially the first layout. Closing other tabs and working through the album in parts helps a lot. The 2 free pages exist exactly so you can find out on your actual laptop in ten minutes.
Do my client photos get uploaded anywhere?
No. Your photos never leave your computer — there is no upload, no copy sitting on our server, no online account holding your client's images. The flip side, told plainly: there is no cloud sync and no online backup. Your work autosaves in that browser on that computer and survives closing the tab, but it does not follow you to another machine, so keep your original photos in your own folders as always.
Can I edit the album after the auto-design?
Yes, the auto layout is only a starting point. You can drag any photo to reframe it, zoom in or out, swap two photos, rotate, and mirror. You can also change the look — Bright, Warm, Cool, Vivid, Soft, B&W — plus brightness, contrast, colour, warmth and soften sliders, and push one look across the whole album in a single click. What is honestly not there yet: background removal, face detection, retouching and client proofing. None of those exist in Opus Album today.
Can I put the couple's names on the album?
Yes. You can add the couple's names, the wedding date, and one custom line of your own — for example a blessing, a shayari, or your studio's line. It is text you type yourself, so the spelling and wording come out exactly as you want them, not as some auto-format decides.
What if I have 400 photos from one wedding?
That is a normal Indian wedding shoot and it is what this is built for — 400 photos simply becomes more spreads, the tool keeps laying them out until your photos are finished. The photos stay in the order you added them, so haldi does not land after the vidaai; the day still reads in sequence. Placement is orientation-aware, so a portrait photo goes into a portrait opening instead of being cropped into a wide one. With a set that big the first layout does take some minutes, since your own laptop is doing the work — no upload waiting, just processing.
Is there a subscription?
No. You pay by the page, once per page, and nothing renews. There is no monthly fee, no licence key, and nothing to cancel — in a busy season you pay for the pages you actually deliver, and in a quiet month you pay nothing at all.
A one-time-payment desktop version is planned but not available yet; today everything runs in the browser. For any question before you start, call us on +91 7419117311 and we will tell you straight.
Proof, not testimonials
We’re new. Here’s what’s real.
Every album tool’s website shows glowing reviews. Ours doesn’t, because we just launched and we won’t invent studios that don’t exist. The fastest way to lose a photographer’s trust is to lie to them on the first page.
So instead of praise, here are measurements. Everything on this list is checked by our own test suite or verifiable in the product in under a minute. Make an account and count.
