Refund Policy
In Short
- Your first 2 pages are free — a taste — so you can test Opus Album on a real shoot before paying anything.
- After that you pay by the page, and a page is charged only when its print-ready file is produced successfully.
- Each page is paid for once. Re-exporting an album you have already paid for costs nothing.
- The watermarked proof is always free.
- If an export fails, you should not be charged. If you were, we put it right.
- Money in your wallet never expires.
- Refunds go back through Cashfree to the same method you paid with.
Everything below is just the detail.
Try Before You Pay — 2 Free Pages
Every new account gets 2 pages free — a taste of the real thing. No card needed to start.
You pay by the page, and each page is paid for once. Growing a 20-page album to 25 costs 5 pages, never the first 20 again. Re-exporting an album you have already paid for costs nothing, however many times you change it. The watermarked proof you send the couple is always free.
Those free pages are the real thing, not a crippled demo: the same dense Karizma-style template library, the same hand adjustments and photo looks, and the same print-ready 36x12 inch 300 DPI export that your lab can print.
This is deliberate. Competitors ask Rs 2,000 to Rs 7,000 upfront, often needing Photoshop installed, on the strength of a YouTube video with no trial. We would rather you run one full album through Opus Album on your own shoot and decide with your own eyes.
Because of that free trial, our refunds are for billing problems — failed exports, double charges, wrong charges — not for "I used it and then changed my mind".
When A Page Is Charged
You pay by the page, once per page.
A page is charged at the moment its print-ready file is produced and delivered to your computer, and each page is charged once no matter how many times you re-export it.
You are not charged for any of this:
- Opening the app or browsing the template library
- Loading a whole shoot and auto-laying it across spreads
- Dragging, zooming, swapping, rotating or mirroring photos
- Applying looks or sliders, including to the whole album at once
- Adding couple names, the wedding date, or a custom line
- Previewing, saving, closing the tab and coming back tomorrow
Design as long as you like. You pay at export, and only when the export actually lands.
A re-export of pages you have already paid for must never charge a second time. If it ever does, tell us — we will put the pages back, or refund the money.
If An Export Fails, There Is No Charge
Exports are done by your own computer, and sometimes a very large album on a loaded machine will not finish — the browser runs out of memory, the tab is closed mid-way, the ZIP never completes, or the PC shuts down.
If the export did not finish, you should not lose the page.
If you see pages gone with no ZIP on your computer, message us on +91 7419117311 with the date and roughly the time, and we will put the pages back — or refund the money if you prefer.
Two practical tips while you are there: your work autosaves, so reopen the album and try the export again; and for very heavy albums, close other big applications first.
How To Ask For A Refund
We refund when:
- Money left your account but never reached your wallet
- You were charged twice for the same purchase
- A page was charged for an export that never completed, and it was not put back
- You were charged an amount you did not authorise, or charged for a plan you had already cancelled
To request it, call or message +91 7419117311 with:
1. The email address on your Opus Album account 2. The date and approximate time of the payment 3. The amount 4. The Cashfree order or payment reference, or the UPI / bank reference from your payment SMS 5. One line on what went wrong
A screenshot of the entry in your bank or UPI app is the fastest possible evidence. Double charges are usually visible in the Cashfree record, so those are quick to settle.
How Long A Refund Takes
What you can expect:
- We aim to reply to a refund request within 2 working days.
- Once approved, we initiate the refund with Cashfree within 3 working days.
- After that, the money typically takes 5 to 7 working days to appear in your UPI-linked or bank account. On credit cards it can take up to one statement cycle, which is the bank's timing, not ours.
We will give you the Cashfree refund reference so you can follow it with your bank.
One thing worth knowing: if a payment shows as pending or failed and the money is stuck at the bank's end, it very often auto-reverses on its own within about a week without anyone having to do anything. Still tell us, so we can check whether the pages were granted.
Your Money And Pages Do Not Expire
Money in your wallet, and pages you have paid for, stay in your account until you use them. There is no monthly reset, no expiry date, no "use it or lose it".
Top up during the season and export the last album months later, in the quiet months. That is fine.
Money and pages belong to the account that bought them and cannot be transferred to another account.
And if you topped up recently, have not exported anything yet, and you would rather have the money back than hold it — call us. If nothing has been exported, we would rather return your money than keep it.
Refunds Return Through Cashfree, The Same Way You Paid
All approved refunds are processed back through Cashfree to the original payment method:
- Paid by UPI, it returns to the same UPI / bank account
- Paid by card, it returns to the same card
- Paid by net banking, it returns to the same bank account
We cannot send a refund to a different account or UPI ID, and we do not refund in cash or by any side channel. This is how the gateway works, and it also protects you from someone else claiming your refund.
If the original card or account has since been closed, tell us and we will raise it with Cashfree. It can be sorted out, but it takes longer than a normal refund.
What We Do Not Refund
Being straight with you up front:
- Pages that exported successfully. You got the print-ready files, and the 2 free pages existed precisely so you could check the style before paying.
- Change of mind after use. If you are unhappy with a layout, you can re-lay it out, adjust every photo by hand, and re-apply looks without spending anything new.
- Anything to do with printing. We sell the design, never the printing — you print at your own local lab. Lab charges, paper choice, colour on paper, or lamination problems are between you and your lab.
- Features we never claimed. Opus Album today does template-based layout, hand adjustment, photo looks, text, and print-ready export. There is no AI album design, no background removal, no face detection, no retouching, no client proofing, no mobile app, no desktop app, and no cloud sync. Please read the feature list, or just ring us on +91 7419117311 and ask, before you pay.
If your case is genuine and does not fit neatly in any box above, call us anyway. We would rather look at it than hide behind this page.
Top-ups and unused balance
You add money to your wallet as a top-up and spend it as you export — a page costs a fixed amount, and the rest stays in your wallet.
- If money left your account but never reached your wallet, tell us and we will either add it immediately or refund in full — your choice.
- Money in your wallet never expires, and there is nothing recurring to cancel.
- If you were charged twice for the same top-up, the duplicate is refunded in full.
- We do not refund money you have already spent on pages that exported successfully.
About The Desktop Version
A one-time-purchase desktop version is planned but is not on sale yet. You cannot buy it today, so there is nothing to refund.
If anyone offers to sell you an "Opus Album desktop" copy right now, it did not come from us. When it does launch, it will have its own clearly published refund terms.

If a payment has gone wrong, please talk to us first. A direct refund through Cashfree is far quicker than a bank dispute, which can drag on for weeks and locks the money at the bank while it is investigated.
We are new at this and we would rather fix a billing problem in a phone call than argue about it.
